yarde gave a great account of himself, was a great fight. But i think his corner should have gave him a little bit more time, boxers have comeback from worse and its the biggest fight of his career

The Russian was just too strong in the end but Yarde fought a fantastic fight. Took some serious digs and dished out plenty too but that Beterbiev was like a force of nature and kept on coming with power punches.

Cracking fight.

There was a period where I thought the Russian didn’t look at all comfortable, and then he caught Yarde and the fight turned.

Correct call by the corner. Is Yarde carrying too much muscle mass maybe?

I really like Yarde..he has had an awful time during Covid with losing family members etc and his efforts going over to Russia and then to fight Beterbiev...much respect. The bit in between with lyndon Arthur is forgettable but tonight was a proper fight. Tunde gets stick as a coach and I know people will always say what could yarde have been with a more rounded coach but Tunde made a good stoppage there
